Hermann Veterinary Clinic

Founded in 1955 by Dr. Leo Rohlfing, Hermann Veterinary Clinic in Hermann, MO, has grown from a primary focus on food animals and equine medicine to a comprehensive mixed-animal practice, serving both large and small animals. Initially located at 4th and Schiller and later moving to its present site in 1971, the clinic has continually adapted to the evolving perceptions and needs of animal care. Dr. Strubberg, who acquired the clinic in 1990, now serves as the Missouri state veterinarian, passing the torch to Drs. Tappenmeyer, Ulhorn, and Bischoff. Under their leadership, the clinic remains committed to improving pets' and livestock's health and quality of life, reflecting the community's deepening bond with their animals. With the field of veterinary medicine advancing rapidly, our dedicated team stays at the forefront through ongoing education and training. Recent renovations have expanded our small animal services, enhancing our surgical, diagnostic, and treatment facilities to offer unparalleled care for our clients' cherished animals.
