DONNA NEFF
Position: Receptionist
Years in the Veterinary Field: 1 Years at HVC: 1 Pets: 1 Dog: Pepper 1 Cat: Catrina Bio: Donna and her husband, Charlie, live with her mother, Wilma in the Hermann area. She has a son and daughter in law that she enjoys spending time with. For the past 38 years, she had worked in the floral and child nutrition fields. Donna enjoys yard work, painting, and reading in her spare time. |
MELANIE DUVALL
Position: Registered Technician
Years in the Veterinary Field: 7 Years at HVC: 7 Pets: 2 Cats: Chevelle & Nova 3 Dogs: Avery, Marty, & Mia 2 Horses: Ranger, & Dusty Bio: Melanie is a 2012 New Haven High School graduate. After graduation she attended Hickey Vet Tech Institute and earned her Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. She lives with her son, Markie, in New Haven and enjoys hunting, camping, and horseback riding. |

CARLY HEIL
Position: Registered Technician
Years in the Veterinary Field: 4 Years at HVC: 1 Pets: 3 Dogs: Bernard, Bruce, & Alfred Bio: Carly grew up in Hermann. She graduated in 2018 from Midwest Institute with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. She moved backed to the area in 2020. In her free time she enjoys fishing, camping, horseback riding, and being with family. |
SARAH MCKERNAN
Position: Technician
Years in the Veterinary Field: 1 Years at HVC: 1 Pets: 2 Dogs: Hunter & Rockie 1 Cat: Riley 3 Horses: Dakota, Romeo, & Dixie Bio: Sarah grew up in the New Haven area. She attended Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Technology. She plans on taking her VTNE and Missouri Board Exams to become a licensed Vet Tech. Sarah completed her internship with us last summer and returned after she graduated. In her free time, she enjoys riding her horses at her grandparents farm, as well as, trail riding and showing her horse, Dakota. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends and snuggling with her dog, Rockie and cat, Riley. |
CHELSEA O'NEAL
JANET MALONE
Position: Technician
Years in the Veterinary Field: 25 Years at HVC: 25 Pets: 4 Dogs: Dottie, Memphis Belle, Munchkin & Twerp Bio: Jan attended high school at Ritenour High in St. Louis. She moved to Stony Hill in 1989 when she married her husband Larry. In addition to their many companion animals, Jan and Larry also have cattle, chickens and ducks. Jan started working for Dr. Strubberg at the New Haven Veterinary Clinic in 1998. After Dr. Strubberg sold the New Haven clinic in 2008, Jan came to work for HVC. She spends her spare time quilting and is active in the Stony Hill church. |
TESS KELLER
Position: Groomer
Years in the Veterinary Field: 21 Years at HVC: 11 Pets: 5 Dogs: Red, Tadpole, Curtis, Herbie, & Josie 3 Donkeys: Gringo, Nacho, & Churro 2 Birds: Salsa, & Verde Bio: Tess is originally from Owensville, Missouri where she graduated high school in 2003. She then attended Missouri State University in Springfield where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Conservation & Management in 2008. In 2010, Tess moved back to the Owensville area and began working at HVC as a small animal assistant. She is now our full-time groomer, but still fills in as a technician when needed. Her hobbies include hunting, fishing, floating and crafts. |
ASHTON HONEYCUTT
Position: Bookkeeper
Years in the Veterinary Field: 5 Years at HVC: 5 Pets: 1 Dog: Murry 2 Cats: Sophie & Daisy Bio: Ashton grew up in the St. Peters and Warrenton area. She attended college at University of Missouri - Columbia where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education, and Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. She is married to Dr. Dan and together they have three children, Josephine, Evelina, & Lorelei. |
